Born in Bridgeport, January 16, 1919, daughter of the late Dennis and Bertha (Gugnacka) Frankoff she was raised on a farm in Lisbon. Following retirement, she loved her travels to Cape Cod, the “cottage” in Westerly, and the trip to Russia with her sister. Jean leaves her two sons and their wives Dennis and Deborah and Paul and Kate all of South Windsor; her former husband and continued companion James Murphy of South Windsor; her grandchildren Scott Hall and his wife Caroline of Arlington, VA and Meghan and Molly Murphy both of South Windsor; her two great grandchildren David and Kathleen Hall; her sister-in-law Hazel Frankoff of North Carolina; three nieces and a nephew she considered like her children Stephanie Immel of Lorton, VA, Pat Hinchey of Vernon, Jeanne Shannon of Norwich, and Joe Shannon of Arlington, MA and additionally a niece and two nephews who lived farther away, JoAnne Wooten and Roger and Ricky Frankoff.
